Procore In-App Messaging Strategy
Procore's in-app messaging was inconsistent, overwhelming, and often ignored, creating a disjointed user experience. Multiple departments relied on in-app messaging and popups to notify users of updates and upsell opportunities, but data showed that our users found the interruptive nature of Procore's in-app messaging to be detracting from their experience using the product. I needed to align user experience goals with sales, marketing, and C-Suite priorities, balancing necessary communication methods with user productivity. My goal was to unify messaging strategy to improve usability, engagement, and alignment across product, sales, and marketing priorities.
I was the lead on this project, and I collaborated with UX design, engineering, sales, technical writing, and marketing, and C-suite leadership to bring this strategy to life.
