Procore's Delete Pattern Redesign

I identified inconsistencies in delete and archive workflows across Procore’s product ecosystem and led a self-initiated research and redesign effort to improve usability and consistency. After auditing the entire app, I identified three distinct delete patterns, permanent delete, recycle bin, and archive, and established standardized patterns, components, and strings to unify handling of deleted items. I then oversaw the implementation of this pattern across the app, partnering with an engineering focus group to drive alinment across all products' delete experiences. The resulting framework improved clarity, reduced user errors, and ensured consistent language and interaction patterns across the product.

I was the UX lead on this project, and I collaborated with UX research and engineering to launch this into production.
